All 10 Wind Turbines Up & Running At Taconite Ridge

All ten wind turbines at Minnesota Power's new Taconite Ridge Energy Center near Virginia, Minnesota are now up and running.

The project is the only one of its kind in northern Minnesota.

It's on Iron Range property of Minnesota Power's largest power customer, U.S. Steel.

The turbines can produce enough electricity to serve between 8 to 10,000 homes.
