Anti-War Protestors To RNC

The Northland Anti-War Coalition plans to be at the Republican National Convention to protest the war.

They gathered in front of the Duluth Federal Building this afternoon to announce their plans.

"I think it's really important to be here to show the support to speak out against the failed Bush policies. This is also the anniversary of women's suffrage and as a mother my child spent 22 months as a national guard deployed, 16 months in Iraq for a civil war," said Joan Nejbar, the mother of a veteran.

Transportation will be provided via Buses and carpools.

The Bus leaves at 8A.M. from Peace Church in East Duluth (1111 E 11th St.) on September 1st.

The bus will stop in Pine City to pick up more riders. The cost is $35 per seat.
