Duluth Airport Authority Receives Federal Grant

The U-S Department of Commerce has given the Duluth Airport Authority the green light for site improvement funding.

Senator Norm Coleman says the Department of Commerce awarded the Duluth Airport Authority more than one-point-four million dollars.

The funding will be used for various infrastructure improvements at the Duluth International Airport.

The funding comes from the Department of Commerce's Economic Development Administration.

Tthe Commerce Department says the funding will leverage more than nine million dollars in private investment.
