Three northern Minnesota airports will be improved thanks to grants from the Federal Aviation Administration.

Tuesday, Minnesota Congressman Jim Oberstar announced that the FAA will fund more than $300,000 in construction projects in Tower, Bemidji and Two Harbors.

The FAA grants will fund a new hangar in Two Harbors, new taxiways in Bemidji, and will be used to remove obstructions and enhance runway approaches at the airport in Tower.
