Residents in the state of Wisconsin are being asked by the state's First Lady to participate in a unique challenge.

Wisconsin's Eat Local Challenge encourages consumers and communities across the state to look for locally grown and produced products.

During the 10-day challenge, from September 5th through the 14th Wisconsinites are being challenged to spend at least 10% of their food budget on Wisconsin foods.

If every Wisconsin household spends 10 percent of its food budget on locally produced foods, it would have a two billion dollar impact on the state's economy.
