Restrictions Lifted In B.W.C.A.

By KBJR News 1

A decision was made Wednesday to lift current restrictions and to allow the use of campfires, charcoal, and wood burning camp stoves in the blowdown area... in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

At the same time the Border Route Trail system and the Keka'-kabic Trail will re-open for public use.

Recent precipitation and cooler temperatures have reduced the potential for human-caused fires.
