1st Annual Live Green Expo

By KBJR News 1

The Harvest Fest wasn't the only Green Event in Duluth this weekend.

The 1st Annual Live Green Expo provided the community with products and tips on how to live an environmentally responsible lifestyle.

Exhibitor booths included transportation, renewable energy, and waste alternatives.

Various speakers, seminars, and giveways aimed to educate folks on the impact we have on our environment.

Betty Lou Marsaa, owner of Betty Lou's Health Foods thinks events like this are important, "Because it teaches the community about different environmental issues that they wouldn't otherwise know about. They learn a lot here. "

The event continues through Sunday.

Join us on NewsCenter at Ten on Sunday night for a special report from meteorologist Shannon Murphy.

She will bring us the latest on the festivities... including an interview with Arctic explorer Will Steger and his vivid account of the changes he's witnessed firsthand caused by Global Warming.
