New Duluth Clinic in Lakeside Opens Monday

Residents in Lake Side may have noticed a new building being erected in record time.

The new building is in fact home to the new SMDC Lake Side Clinic.

The new clinic replaces a hundred year-old Movie Theater that was converted into the clinic years ago.

Clinic Administrator Chris Russ says that staff and patients are excited about the new facility.

Clinic Administrator Chris Russ says the patients are very excited, "they have been watching the progress and I think some are just going to come in on Monday even if they don't have an appointment just to see the clinic on Monday."

The clinic boasts a state of the art mammography machine, a large physical training gym and twenty-one new exam rooms.

The clinic will start seeing patients Monday.
