Temporary Work To Begin On Lift Bridge

The Aerial Lift Bridge rehabilitation project will begin again soon.

Temporary nighttime closures are scheduled for the weeks of September 15th and September 22nd.

During these dates the bridge will be placed in the down position from one to three a.m. and 3:30-5:30 a.m. on weekdays.

The work will also result in single-lane vehicle traffic over the bridge... from nine p.m. on Sundays until seven a.m. the following weekday mornings.

This will allow for counterweight work to be completed on the bridge.
