Lester River Rendevzous Welcomes Fall

By KBJR News 1

Over in Duluth's Lakeside, the Lester Park community was celebrating a grand re-opening of sorts for the nearing Autumn Season.

It was that time of year for the annual Lester River Rendevzous... a fall tradition that features food, crafts, and entertainment.

A unique part of the event is what's known as the Voyageur Village.

Folks can get a taste of a voyageurs camp from the late 18th Century in Northern Minnesota.

Despite the chilly weather, organizers say this year's turnout was a success.
