Moose Lake Stabbing Suspect In Court

By KBJR News 1

A Moose Lake woman made a court appearance Monday following a stabbing in Moose Lake in late August.

27 year old Jessi Marie Lees pleaded not guilty to two counts of attempted second-degree murder, three counts of assault, and one count of first degree burglary.

20 year old Steven Ross Shotley allegedly repeatedly stabbed a Moose Lake man after breaking into his apartment while he was sleeping.
The victim's girlfriend escaped the apartment and called 9-1-1 from a neighbor's home.

Lees is charged with the same crimes as Shotley for allegedly aiding and abetting him.

Moose Lake police arrested Shotley and Lees shortly after the attack on County Road Six near Barnum.

Lees' next hearing has not been set.

In court Monday Lees asked for a lower bail, but her request was denied.
