Northland's NewsCenter to Broadcast Wild Games

The Northland's NewsCenter is excited to announce that we will once again broadcast Minnesota Wild hockey games on both CBS 3 and My 9. Our broadcast season begins on Thursday, October 23rd when the Wild host the Buffalo Sabres at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.

The Wild are coming off an exciting 2007-2008 season finishing first in the Northwest Division.

"We continually strive to bring quality local programming to the Northland and Minnesota Wild Hockey is just one more way we accomplish our goal, "said David Jensch, Northland's NewsCenter station manager. Jensch adds, "This year, we're airing more games so more of the Wild's fans here in the Northland can see them play."

The Northland's NewsCenter will broadcast 19 regular season games. The broadcast schedule is as follows:

CBS 3 can be seen over the air on analog channel 3 and digital channel 3.1 as well as cable channel 4. My 9 (KBJR-DT 6.2) is available over the air on digital channel 6.2 or cable channel 9.
