Friday, November 21, 2008 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Christmas CIty of the North Parade. This year's parade begins outside our Canal Park studios, travels down Railroad Street to Lake Avenue, turns left at Superior Street and concludes at 5th Avenue West.

The Northland's NewsCenter will begin coverage with a special edition of NewsCenter at Five followed by "Fifty Years of Christmas City: A Northland's NewsCenter Special." The parade begins around 6:15 following NewsCenter at Six.

I was sad to see last year you had to watch the stream LIVE or miss it. It's hard to do that at 2am, any chance you can let the troops see this in a download or something? It's just not Christmas without this parade....
