There was a close call Monday...in Rice Lake Township.

This truck broke through the ice around 3:30 in the afternoon at the Rice Lake Boat Landing.

The occupants of the vehicle managed to escape without injury.

Monday's incident serves to remind us that ice conditions can change quickly with the temperatures.
