A Poplar, Wisconsin teen has gone from acting in plays at the Duluth Play House to landing an upcoming role during NBC's prime time lineup.
LeAnn Wallace has the story of Bridger Zadina.

"It's a dream for him and what better dream, if he goes out there and failed, what an experience for a kid, you can't get that from any other way then to get out and do it."

14–year old Bridger Zadina has been passionate about acting ever since he can remember.

Bridger's dad Simon says he first noticed his son had real acting talent after reciting lines from the blockbuster hit, Titanic.

It wasn't long before others also noticed Bridger's knack for acting.
He headed to Minneapolis to audition for the talent agency Pro–Scout.

"One of the coaches who was there and actually coaches kids out in LA said you really have to come out to LA I want you to come to LA normally I asked kids to give me a reason as to why they should come in but he said, you should just come out because I want you out there."

Bridger and his mom packed up and moved to Los Angeles, where he has been living for nearly 3–years.

He landed a regular role on the Disney Channel as a Movie Surfer.
He faced a more challenging role on the upcoming episode of Law and Order SVU, playing the role of a transgendered boy.

"He felt trapped in a boys body, and was a girl and was meant to be a girl and it was an amazing, amazing role to take on because it was such deep shoes to try to fill and to try to walk in, and it was such an amazing opportunity to work with such an amazing cast."

Although Bridger says he loves following his acting dreams he still has a soft spot for the Northland.

"I definitely do miss the pine trees and the snow and the temperatures there because even surprisingly when it gets down to negative 50 with the wind chill and stuff I do miss it... I miss the open spaces and the trees and the land."

Bridger says he's currently in the middle of auditioning for various sitcom pilots for next year.
