Lemonade Stands To Help With Fundraising For Playfront

In April the Junior League of Duluth announced the delay of the rebuilding of Playfront Park on the Bay in part because we had not met our funding goals.

As of July 1st, with the generous support of the Duluth community and several large funding organizations the Junior League has raised $108,000!

On July 15th, the group will be host a fundraiser that allows the children of Duluth to get further involved in the rebuilding of the Playground; they have already helped with the project through the Pennies for Playfront initiative.

At stands around the city see below for a list of venues children will be selling lemonade and brownies for 50¢; all the money earned will support the Playfront Park on the Bay Project.

The Junior League of Duluth asks everyone in the community to stop and treat themselves to a cool glass of lemonade or a fresh baked brownie!

· 2606 East 4th St

· 2216 East 2nd St

· 16 Kent Rd

· West Duluth location: TBA

· UMD Farmer’s Market, 2-4:30pm (baked goods only): Kirby Drive (in front of UMD stores)
