Cruise Ship In Twin Ports

By KBJR News 1

The Luxury Cruise Ship the Clelia two arrived early this morning, shortly before 5:30.

The 290 foot cruise coming from Toronto holds 100 passengers and has a crew of about 60 members.

This is the inaugural trip on the Great Lakes for the Clelia two, and its arrival marks an historic day for Duluth.

"Duluth and Toronto are fantastic destinations and there is a lot of great places in between and lots of things to see and do so we think the future for cruising is very bright," said Terry Mattson of Visit Duluth.

The Bahamian flagged ship dropped off 79 passengers this morning and is now on its journey back to Toronto with another group of travelers out of Duluth.

Tonight at ten, the Northland's NewsCenter's Kevin Jacobsen will give us an inside look at the ship.
