Firewood Catches Fire In Tofte

The troubles for the folks at Bluefin Bay Resort in Tofte continued Monday.

The resort's large firewood pile on the north side of Highway 61 caught fire Monday morning.

Along with the Tofte fire department, the blaze was fought with mutual aid from Schroeder and Lutsen under the watchful eye of the Cook County Sheriff's Department.

It's not known yet if this fire is connected to the fireworks explosion Saturday night.

An investigation is under way.
