Charges Filed Against Superior Shooting Suspect

A 41 year old Superior man was charged Tuesday in the shooting of a woman by a Superior bar over the weekend.

Javier Garcia was using a dresser to target shoot near the Viking when he shot Trish Williams in the foot while she was outside J-T's Bar.

Garcia who fired a .22 caliber rifle was charged with second degree reckless injury, and possession of a fire arm by a felon.

He faces up to 12 years in prison and $25,000 in fines.
