Court Sides With School District

By KBJR News 1

A Duluth District Court judge may have ended the hopes of the "Let Duluth Vote" group to block the Duluth School District's long range facilities plan.

In order to continue with a court case against the district over its contract with Johnson Controls "Let Duluth Vote" was required to post a $100,000 surety bond by June 30th.

The group raised the required funds, but Wednesday Judge Eric Hylden ruled they failed to complete the required paperwork in time to meet the deadline.
