New Charges Added In Case Against Big Top Founder

New charges have been added in the case against Big Top Chautauqua founder Warren Nelson.

Nelson had been charged with second degree sexual assault and substantial battery in an incident that allegedly occurred last January.

Friday the charges of misdemeanor battery and fourth degree sexual assault were added against him.

62 year-old Nelson is accused of attempting to assault a Bayfield County woman in early January.

A plea and sentencing hearing are set for next Wednesday.
