Name of Island Lake Drowning Victim Released

Authorities today released the name of the drowning victim on Island Lake in Gnesen Township.

The victim has been identified as 41 year old Rodney Earl Solem of Lakewood Township.

Authorities responded to the water emergency call Friday afternoon.
The County sheriff says the body may have been in the water for up to three days.

They found it about 300- feet off shore from Andler Road.

Officials are now investigating how the man drowned.
