Beachgoers Enjoy Sun on Park Point

By KBJR News 1

With another beautiful day here in the Northland, families and sun soakers were filling up area the beaches and parks.

At the end of Duluth's Park Point, a number of beach-bums were out enjoying the water and the sand.

Warmer air temps made the chilly 62 degree water seem a little more bearable.

Beachbum Shane Washburn agrees, "The beach is very nice, there's a little bit of wind, there's a lot of people down here and the sun feels great!"

The Park Point beach house attracts many folks throughout the summer.

With a playground, barbeque grills, picnic tables, and volleyball court there's just about something to do for every age.
