Tips To Live In Luxury For Less

Many of us are tightening our belts and spending more time at home during this recession.

And sometimes it might be hard to make a little time for 'you,' on a budget.

Tiffany Tarrolly has some pointers.

"I definitely think that now is a more important time than ever to pamper ourselves and make ourselves feel better," said home shopping queen Patti Reilly.

She says even with a tight budget, you can make yourself feel and look better.

"I think that all women will agree that that doe eyes look, that those fringe lashes are totally in."

She says it's easy to get that look from brands like Cover Girl and Mabelline that offer bold dramatic lashes.

Reilly says many people are spending a lot more time at home, but that's a place where you can also pamper yourself for less, with little things like reed diffusers and candles.

"You can try to really bring in that simple indulgence and remind ourselves to celebrate the every day luxuries in life," said Reilly.

One of summer's luxuries is getting a nice tan- well, if you're like many Northlanders who didn't get a vacation or enough sun this year- try out a self tanner.

"It's kind of a double whammy of confidence booster for the ladies who want to look and feel their best without spending a fortune," Reilly said.

And for a virtually free beauty trick, just put a normal spoon in the freezer for about ten minutes.

"Then when you take it out, just place the rounded part of the spoon right on any of the puffiness underneath your eye and it instantly soothes cools and minimizes the puffiness."

The best part of all these tips and products? You don't have to go to a luxury or specialty store to find them.
