St. Louis Co. Authorities Search For Escaped Inmate

St. Louis County Authorities are on the lookout for an escaped inmate.

Authorities discovered 25 year old Raymond Hawpetoss had escaped Monday afternoon from the Northeast Regional Corrections Center when he was supposed to be transported to the St. Louis County jail, and they haven't been able find him since.

Hawpetoss was serving on a second degree assault charge.

He's described as 5 foot ,5 inches, weighing about 145 pounds.

He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and long black shorts.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office.
