By KBJR News 1

POSTED BY JULIE PEARCE

Concerns surrounding the swine flu have forced the Hurley School District in Hurley, Wisconsin to close their doors for the first part of this week.

School officials are concerned with a recent increase in the number of ill students.

Unless otherwise notified, the entire school property will be off limits to everyone until Wednesday.

Over the course of the next couple days, the K-12 school will undergo rigorous sanitation.

The closure affects a little more than 600 students in the district.
