Duluth police have found the car that hit and left a young man in critical condition.

The police department said calls from the public helped locate the black 2006 Honda CRV that hit 18–year–old Alexander Balluff early Saturday as he was walking with friends on Rice Lake Road. After striking Balluff the vehicle left the scene.

Balluff remains in critical condition at St. Mary's Medical Center.
The police department is still investigating the crash and asks anyone with information to call.
