I work in a union shop and bad things happen there too. Safety is EVERYONE'S responsibility. To those saying they aren't going to frequent the establishment, they will be employing locals after they open. I hope you don't shop at any department stores either. They are mainly non-union and most products come from overseas.

It's sad to hear everyone blaming the lack of safety of someone else. On a jobsite, it's everyone's responsibility to look after each other. A man died and other people on site might have been able to prevent it.

all people should be sad for the family, cidents happen, and I am sure that all Roadhouse employees around the US are sad for the loss, it is a close company that values its employees and thinks of everyone as family, and this is not just some guy, and it is sad for everyone

everyone needs to understand, that Texas Roadhouse gave all companies, union, non union, local and non local a fair chance to offer bids for each job hired for. They decided to pay more for some things to be able to hire locally, and some local bids were WAY more than the outside bids, there is a budget to follow and TRH has to abide by the rules of the ocmpany and its budget. When looking at the local workers picketing outside, not being of any use to the situation, it

What on earth is wrong with some people, it wouldn't have mattered who was in there working, smae could have happened to anyone, this was about a tragic loss of a young mans life and people are thinking about weather it was local employment or not? The place is being built by whoever the owner decided to hire, it isnt a road construction job or a public feneral building, so who cares? Quit being so narrow minded that you lose sight of the important things in life. The comments made by some on

I also agree that this is a sad situation for the family. But it is true, why aren't they employing local workers? They expect locals to support their business but they are not willing to support local workers? My family will not be going here.

Did a union enforcer throw this guy to the ground? I'll bet if this company hired union workers this wouldn't have happened!
