Antonio Lewis appeared with his attorney today in Judge Shaun Floreke's Court Room.

Lewis is charged with aiding and abetting second degree murder and aiding and abetting aggravated robbery in the beating death of Albert Morrison.

Morrison was found dead in an alley near the holiday center in downtown Duluth.

After an investigation police arrested Lewis along with Isaac Johnson in connection with the brutal killing.

Both Johnson and Lewis blamed each other for the robbery and subsequent murder.

According to the criminal complaint Johnson and Lewis lured Morrison into the alley with the promise of alcohol, then robbed and beat Morrison to death.

Police later found Morrison's state I.D. at Lewis's home.
Today Lewis's attorney asked Judge Floreke for more time analyzing the mountains of evidence including the coroner's autopsy report.

Judge Floreke granted the request and Lewis will appear in court again on January eighth.

Johnson also has a hearing set for January eighth.
