27-year-old Julie Ann Gronski of Duluth was charged with four counts of criminal vehicular operation resulting in great bodily harm, two counts of failure in the duties of a driver or hit and run, driving after suspension and careless driving.

She's facing up to 15 and a half years in prison and fines up to $35,000.

Alex is my BF's son... 12 days after this horrific accident he still remains in a deep coma... Prognosis?? who knows rt now.. All because of someone's blatant disregard for others.. drinking and driving, hit and run, how do people like this sleep at night? I pray that after this person gets out of prison she does something to educate others on the horrors of drinking and driving... maybe she can prevent others from injuring someone like she has.

I wonder if this drivers family is going through the same pain as the victim family and friends. Tragic the lives that have been changed by one persons lack of judgement.

At 27 you should know better about drinking and driving. She could have at least done the decent thing-which would have been to stop and help the people that were so badly hurt!
