POSTED BY JULIE PEARCE

The name of man killed in a single vehicle rollover on Interstate 35 yesterday has been released.

The victim of the crash has been identified as 27- year old Chad E. Nelson of Minneapolis.

The state patrol says witnesses reported a Jeep passing at speeds up to 85 miles per hour in the Northbound lane before it left the road near Willow River.

The vehicle rolled three times.

Although Nelson was wearing his seatbelt, he died on the scene from severe head trauma.

Another needless tradgedy. I35 is like a race track. We need more unmarked police cars enforcing the laws for cars, light trucks and commercial carriers!

I also travel that road. I also ask the question, what was so important to risk his life and also mine. The loss is extremely sad, but the fact is we cannot condone the actions. Grieve for the family in their loss, but don't sugar glaze the fact that he endangered many more lives than just his own. Responsibility lies within us, and his family is now the victim of his behavior.

people are entitled to their opinions. You arent being any better of a human being by telling someone else to grow up and shut up. Practice what you preach!!!!

I dont think Riddler's question is that rude or rediculous Tina. It's a simple question. People know the rules of the road and they choose not to follow them. It's tragic what happened but when you are putting yourself as well as the other drivers' on the road in danger, you have to face consequences that occur whether it be a ticket, or in this case an accident. If people would slow down and at least obey posted traffic limits, this young man may still be alive.

I was going south that day and drove through the scene over all the glass and Jeep parts. There was a lot of people stopped and were around the Jeep. I heard that he had died later that night from my Dad as I was coming back north. I felt just terrible for him and his family.

What a stupid question Riddler...do you always have to make such rude comments when families are grieving...grow up, shut up and be a human being
