A Duluth dentist, facing criminal charges for crashing his car into a state trooper vehicle in August, made an appearance in Carlton County Court Wednesday.
61-year old Dr. Timothy Langguth of Moose Lake is charged with two felony counts of criminal vehicular operation causing bodily harm.
State trooper Erick Sjodin was in the car when it was hit and he suffered serious injuries and had to be hospitalized.
Langguth's blood alcohol level was .28 at the time of the accident, three and a half times the legal limit.
Langguth was scheduled to have an omnibus hearing Wednesday, but a settlement hearing was scheduled for December 9th instead.
