Marchers will assemble on Railroad Street and travel east to Lake Avenue.

The procession then makes it's way to the interstate overpass where it will set a westerly course on Superior Street.

The parade finishes at 5th-Avenue West in Downtown Duluth.

If you plan to watch the parade, keep in mind of some detours and road closures.

During the parade, the I-35 Northbound and Southbound exits onto Lake Avenue will be closed for duration of the event.

This will last from approximately 6:00 to 8:30 this evening.

Superior Street between sixth avenue West to Lake Avenue will have no parking.

This will include handicapped zones.

Cars parked in violation on Superior Street will be towed after 5:30 PM.

Michigan Street between 5th and 6th Avenues West is also off-limits to parked vehicles.

According to police, the following roads will have detours. Those include Railroad Street between Canal Park Drive to Garfield Avenue.

Lake Avenue South will be closed to through traffic at Buchanan Street.

Northbound traffic off of Park Point has been detoured to Canal Park Drive.

I'm glad Duluth does a parade every year, but driving a trailer down the road with a string of lights is not a float. There are also too many dance groups and bands, there is not a lot of variety.
