One individual was killed late last night following a single-car accident east of Deer River.
The Ford Pickup was traveling northbound on Highway 6 when the driver failed to halt for the Highway 2 junction stop signs.
The vehicle crossed over both lanes and vaulted into the ditch embankment.
Shortly after impact, the truck was engulfed in flames.
The name of the driver has not yet been released, pending family notification.
