Duluth police have caught a suspect involved in a burglary Thursday morning.
The burglary happened around 10 am on West. 4th street after the residents left their home for the holiday weekend.
After realizing they forgot something they returned home to find the back door kicked in and someone burglarizing their home.
They recognized the suspect who then fled and was chased by one of the residents who then fought with suspect.
He got away, but was arrested a short distance away as police arrived on the scene.
The suspect was then is taken into custody and is now being held at the St. Louis County Jail pending formal charges of first degree burglary.
