Children and adults of all ages came out to show their support for the Men's Olympic Curling team as they prepare for the winter games in Vancouver.

Children got autographs and took pictures with the athletes they look up to.

Most of the team is from the Iron Range, and say they're humbled by the outpouring of good luck wishes from friends and family.

"This is incredible come see all people supporting you throughout the year and little kids that look up to us great to see family and friends supporting," said curler Jeff Isaacson.

This will be the first time competing in the Olympics for many of the team members, but they say that won't affect their confidence.

"If we play well we can win the gold, that's why we're there, we're not there to take 2nd or 3rd, that's why were there because we want to win and I want to go to play well and win the thing," said curler Jason Smith.

"I think we can do it.. yes, we'll give it our best," said Isaacson.

The team is headed to Vancouver February 6 and will hit the ice first against Germany on February 16.

The men's Curling Team says their toughest competition will be the Canadian team.
