Charges have been filed in connection with the shooting at a Chisholm bar over the weekend that left one man dead and injured two others.

About a dozen people attended this morning's arraignment for 47–year–old Jason Musburger who is accused of opening fire at Jim's Sports Barl over the weekend.

One man was killed in the shooting and two others were injured.

Musburger has been charged with second degree murder and first and second degree attempted murder, along with stalking and violation of a restraining order issued by his ex–wife.

Musburger's ex–sister–in–law says she's still in shock over what happened, and called the alleged shooter a loving father to his three children.

"For whatever reason, this happened...and we're floating to one emotion from another. I feel sorry for everyone affected because this never should have happened," said Jean Pessenda.

Friends of Jason that have talked to him in the past few days say he was under the influence of medication and alcohol at the time of the shooting, and doesn't remember it.

The next court date is Friday, March 19 at 9 a.m.

The suspect was a Chisholm police officer in the 1980s and most recently a city employee in the water department.
