The recent warm temperatures are cooling business at Spirit Mountain.
Today only a handful of snowboarders and skiers were hitting the slopes, trying to savor the remainder of the snow pack. Officials say this will be the last week of nighttime skiing this season.
Spirit Mountain says despite the balmy temps, there is still a substantial snow base at the resort. However, sporadic patches of grass and run closures have popped up.
Officials at the ski resort say this winter has been challenging.
"It's terribly frustrating. If we lose a day because of bad weather, that's a day we can never get back," said Renee Mattson, Spirit Mountain executive director.
If you haven't hit the slopes yet there's still time. Spirit Mountain says the ski facility will remain open until March 28th.
