Duluth, Minn. (NNCNOW.com) -- People were enjoying a brew and some fish tonight at Wolf Ridge's biggest fundraiser at the Great Lakes Aquarium.
The theme for the auction fundraiser is "A Bevey of Brews and a Kettle of Fish."
Attendees tasted an assortment of beer and wine from area breweries while enjoying fish appetizers from local restaurants.
A silent and live auction was also held.
Wolf Ridge provides environmental education to thousands of students interested in learning more about the wilderness of Northern Minnesota.
"We need this help from people to really succeed and thrive as an organization. This evening's income from this event, half of all ticket sales are going directly to school scholarships to bring more kids to wolf ridge," said Peter Smerud, executive director of Wolf Ridge.
Wolf Ridge was founded in 1971 and became the first accredited K–12 environmental learning center.
Our very own Michelle Lee was at the fundraiser tonight presenting items for the live auction.
