Duluth's new aircraft maintenance facility has officially announced its first and possibly only customer.
The AAR facility announced that they have signed a letter of intent with Air Canada to maintain Canada's largest airline's fleet of 89 Airbus A320 Series jets.
The work on the airline will bring the base to full capacity within a year.
It will also be adding 225 new and good paying jobs to the area.
AAR is already servicing Air Canada's Airbus planes in Miami but the work will be transitioned to the new Duluth base during the next year, with the first line up and running by December.
AAR and Air Canada are working together to finalize the terms for a five-year agreement to continue through September of 2017.
