Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - A brisket bent on smoking the competition with a world record has served up success.
Fast food giant Arby's made history this weekend by setting a Guinness World Record for the longest television commercial ever aired, according to company spokespeople.
The star of the show: the smokehouse brisket that Arby's slow smokes for 13 hours... coincidentally, or maybe not so much, as long as the commercial aired.
The 13–hour spot that featured the brisket being smoked aired in its entirety exclusively in Duluth on the MY 9 channel.
Guinness confirmed the world record shortly thereafter.
If you missed just a part, or all, of the commercial, then don't worry, and go online may 28th for the re–broadcast.
Spokespeople say $20,000 in prizes will be given away during its airing.
