Ashland, WI (NNCNOW.com) --- Police are searching for a man who robbed an Ashland market at gunpoint Wednesday night. Ashland police say the man entered the sixth street market just before closing Wednesday night and demanded cash from the register. The man then pulled out a silver semi automatic pistol and pointed it at the clerk. The clerk then gave up an undisclosed amount of cash, before the suspect fled on foot. The suspect is being described as a white man about six foot one with blond hair. At the time of the robbery he was wearing a light colored bandana over his face, a green colored jacket, white gloves, jeans, black belt and white shoes with black stripes.
