Ashland, WI (NNCNOW.com) -- The Ashland Planning Commission approved the Chequamegon Food Co–Op's Plans to make way for more parking.

The Co–op bought land adjacent to their new building which is under construction, to make a parking lot.

To make room for the lot, two buildings will have to be demolished.

The plan now needs to be approved by the Ashland City Council, and is expected to be on the agenda August 19.
