Authorities Discover Active Meth Lab in Ironwood

After a month-long investigation, authorities in Ironwood arrest three people for operating an active meth lab.

A search warrant was executed at about 1:30 Tuesday morning on Florence Street in Ironwood.

When authorities entered the home, they found an active meth lab.

Residents living near the meth lab were quickly evacuated and transported to safe locations.

The three suspects are being held at the Gogebic County jail pending arraignment.

They are currently charged with manufacturing meth and maintaining a drug house. Other charges are pending.

The Ironwood Department of Public Safety, Hurley Police, Gogebic County Sheriff's Department and the Iron County Sheriff's Department.
