Authorities Need Your Help to Track Down Burglary Suspect

Cloquet, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- Authorities are asking for the public's assistance in locating a suspect involved in a weekend burglary in Cloquet.

According to the Cloquet Police Department, authorities were called to a house on the 1500 Block of Wilson Avenue where the homeowner says he was just burglarized.

The homeowner says that when he came home, he discovered a man carrying a pillowcase inside his home that allegedly held stolen items from his home.

The suspect fled the residence with the homeowner following. Outside the home, the suspect then allegedly struck the homeowner with a pillowcase.

The homeowner then followed the suspect for a short distance on foot, until the suspect allegedly turned around and yelled to him that he had a gun.

The homeowner then stopped and observed the suspect get into what he believed was a red late-model four door Chevrolet Cobalt that fled north on 14th Street.

The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 30 years of age, 6’4” tall with a heavy build, weighing approximately 250 pounds. The suspect was wearing a black sweatshirt and black stocking cap.
