BBB warns of Key Funding scam

May 6, 2014 Updated May 6, 2014 at 12:59 PM CDT

Burnsville, MN (NNCNOW.com) --- An investigation by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Minnesota and North Dakota into Key Funding has revealed the business is not being ethical in their offers.

The BBB says Key Funding is sending unsolicited faxes to businesses across the country telling them they are pre–approved for sizable loans.

The BBB says the fax claims that business owners have been "pre–approved for a capital infusion of $48,862.04 with underwriting authorization of up to $250,000."

The BBB would like to advise business owners to discard such faxes because they say the offers are not true. They believe it to be an advance fee loan scheme.

The BBB says Key Funding also claims to have an address in Bloomington, MN; however, the BBB discovered that the company is not located at the address they claim.
