Bad Underground Cable Caused Duluth Power Outage

Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com)-- Minnesota Power says a bad underground cable caused a major power outage in parts of Duluth.

It was lights out for much of Park Point and Canal Park for close to 30 minutes, around 7:20 Thursday night.

According to officials at Minnesota Power, the underground cable near Bay front Festival Park is being repaired.

It took crews over 30 minutes to restore power.
