Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - It's a sure sign that the holiday season is behind us. The Bentleyville Tour of Lights tree that has been standing in Bayfront Park since November was taken down Saturday.

Volunteers from the community, Iron Worker Local Union #512 and Lakehead Sign helped bring the tree to its off-season home in a water front lot.

The task took about five hours to complete, but founder Nathan Bentley says it will take six to seven weeks before the majority of the holiday lights display is taken down.

"This is the first and only official day for the public to come out and help with taking down Bentleyville and then we'll continue to work through the next several weeks, backing up our semi–trailers and getting everything ready for the next season,"Bentley said.

Bentley says they've already begun planning for the next three years of the light display.
