Superior, WI (NNCNOW.com) - The Lake Superior Chapter of the Christian Motorcyclists Association was on the move Saturday. They're teaming up with Feed Our Starving Children on a road trip to fight Hunger.

The group gathered this morning at Perkins in West Duluth in preparation for a two hour–long motorcycle ride to Coon Rapids, where they will fill bags with nutrient–rich foods to be shipped around the world.

After a group prayer — and a bike–blessing or two — the group was ready to hit the road.

More Minnesota bikers will join them throughout the journey, which includes a stop in Hinckley where fundraising efforts have been revving up.

And while the trip down is certainly part of the fun, for these bikers it's what happens when they reach their destination that really moves them.

"Feed my starving Children actually produced 1,600,000 meals, which was a pretty incredible stat," said biker Nick Capra, standing with his wife Marcia.

"We all got to pray over the food and it's pretty amazing," added Marcia, "I'm crying most of the time I'm bagging the food because it's pretty awesome."

This is the organization's second bike ride and they're not planning to hit the brakes any time soon. Another trip is already planned for next year.
