Duluth, MN (NNCNOW.com) - Another business opened its doors in Duluth on Tuesday.
Border States Electric celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting.
Following the ribbon cutting, 20 venders were set up in the new facility for a trade show.
The company has been analyzing the Duluth market over the past two years.
Company officials determined that their services would be beneficial to the area because of all the construction going in the Northland.
"We have 11 branches in the state of Minnesota and we have completely covered the map for all of our major markets in Minnesota, and the Northeast Minnesota market area was the only place we didn't have a branch in a large community. So that's why this was chosen," said Ken Rowland, the Vice President for the Northeast Region.
Border States is employee owned and distributes electric supplies though out the state the Minnesota.
The new facility is located at 4451 Airpark Blvd. in Duluth.
